Georgie is a student and tries her best not to get into mischief so far that is not turning out as well as she planed. With her goody 2 shoes enemy trying to make sure Georgie succeeds in getting expelled and that goody 2 shoed enemy is called Cara - who sadly is also a drama student which makes them very competitive. If you had the chance to meet Cara you would describe her as a spoilt rich girl that doesn’t have any true friends. Not like Georgie does. Anyway she has 4 great friends luckily to share a sleeping dorm with.
The point of this story is that there are auditions for the school play, "Little Women". Georgie would love it if she could have the part of Amy, one of the sisters. To make things even worse, Cara wants the part of Amy as well. But of course Cara gets what she wants and has the part. Georgie at least got to be back up for Amy’s part in case Cara gets sick. Suddenly Cara get a sore throat.
Georgie gets to fill in as Amy but sadly a week from the performance Cara shows up and is ready to play Amy. Suddenly something strange happens and Cara has fallen down the stairs and has broken her leg. Cara says it wasn’t an accident and until the person owns up there will be no school play. Lilly, her best friend, owns up even though she didn’t do it, it was Georgie.But if Georgie had owned up she would expelled and wouldn’t be able to play the part of Amy. Lilly didn’t get expelled as this was her first ever warning and the show must go on.
I felt that this book reflected my life here at Marylebone that’s why it’s so special to me and I was hoping that you would get to know me better in this book. I will grade this book 5/5.
