This book was really interesting and it is the first book in the series that was used to make up the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World! I loved the movie so when I found the book I wanted to instantly read it, and I simply didn’t want to stop. Its in a cartoon layout so not a challenging read but a nice simple one, filled with funny jokes and drawings. It's about a boy called Scott who keeps seeing a girl in her dreams then becomes madly obsessed with her and stalks her. When she finally agrees to go on a date with him he after the perfect night she finds out he has a catch… - to carry on seeing her he’ll have to destroy all of her 7 deadly exes! Scott decides to take on this challenge but does he know how much he is asking for… ?
A wickedly funny plotline and great simple illustrations. If you liked the film you’ll love the book. Filled with jokes and madness this book is an easy but good read that you can love and enjoy.
