Once by Morris Gleitzman

Once is an adventure and drama novel set back around Hitler and the Nazis. It is about a boy called Felix who needs to find his parents before the Nazis get him and kill him because of his religion. During his adventure, he meets a young girl called Zelda. Together, they run to protect themselves and go through their ups and downs. Unfortunately, Felix finds a secret that he will never forget and seeks help... I like this book because it tells me how many people's lives were affected by Hitler and the Nazis and the fictional childhood that Felix had.
